Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 19, 2026

The short version

When you create an account, order something, or contact us, we collect what's needed to run the store: your account details, shipping/billing info, order history, and messages you send us. We never see or store your full card number; Stripe handles payment directly. We don't sell your data, we don't run ads, and (as of this writing) we don't use any analytics or tracking tools. Some things (your cart, your theme choice, your sign-in session) are stored locally in your browser, not on our servers. You can review or change what's allowed anytime from the link, and you have real rights over your data; see Your privacy rights below.

Who we are

This policy covers blaxstar.net (the "Store," "we," "us"), operated by BLAXSTAR LLC, the data controller responsible for the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us at:

BLAXSTAR LLC
971 US Route 202, STE N
Branchburg, NJ 08876
United States

For anything privacy-related, like questions, requests, or concerns, please send an email to privacy@blaxstar.net.

Information we collect

We collect different information depending on how you use the Store:

  • Account information. When you sign in, our authentication provider gives us your name, email address, and a unique account ID. We use the ID to link your orders and address book to your account. We don't separately store a password of yours anywhere.
  • Order and shipping information. Shipping and billing addresses, the items you order, order status, and order history.
  • Payment information. We never see or store your full card number, expiration date, or CVC. Payment is handled directly by Stripe, our payment processor. At checkout, you're taken to a Stripe-hosted payment page. We only receive confirmation that a payment succeeded, along with a transaction reference.
  • Contact form submissions. Your name, email, the topic you selected, and your message, so we can respond to you.
  • Information stored in your browser. Your cart contents, your light/dark theme preference, and your sign-in session are stored locally on your device (not on our servers) using your browser's local storage. See Cookies & local storage below for the full list.
  • Basic technical logs. Like most websites, our servers automatically log standard request data (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) for security and troubleshooting. We don't combine this with analytics or advertising profiles, since we don't run either.

How we use it

We use your information to:

  • Create and manage your account, and process and fulfill your orders.
  • Communicate with you about orders, shipping, and support requests.
  • Respond to messages sent through the contact form.
  • Keep the Store secure and prevent fraud or abuse.
  • Meet legal and tax/accounting obligations.

In legal terms, we rely on: performing our contract with you (taking and fulfilling orders), our legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, responding to inquiries), your consent (for any optional cookie categories you turn on), and legal obligations (such as tax recordkeeping).

Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for advertising purposes. We do share it with a small number of service providers who need it to help run the Store:

  • Stripe — processes payments. See Stripe's privacy policy.
  • Our authentication provider — handles sign-in at auth.blaxstar.net.
  • Shipping carriers — once you place an order, we share your shipping address with the carrier delivering it.
  • Email delivery services — used to send order confirmations and reply to contact form messages.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of the Store, our users, or the public.

International transfers

We currently ship domestically (United States) with plans for international shipments soon. If you're located outside the country where our servers or service providers operate, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in a different country than your own. When that happens through a provider like Stripe, that transfer is covered by their own safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers out of the EU/EEA/UK) — see their privacy policy for details. If you have questions about a specific transfer, contact us at privacy@blaxstar.net.

Cookies & local storage

We don't set tracking cookies, and as of this writing we don't run any analytics or advertising scripts. The Store does store a small amount of data directly in your browser to function:

  • Required, always on: your sign-in session, your shopping cart, and your theme preference — all stored on your device, not as server-set cookies.
  • Required, third-party: when you check out, Stripe sets its own cookies on its own checkout page to process payment securely.
  • Optional: functional, analytics, and marketing categories exist in our cookie preferences so you can opt in ahead of time, but nothing is turned on by default and nothing runs under these categories today.

You can review or change what's allowed anytime using the link (also in the site footer). If we ever add analytics or marketing tools, we'll only turn them on for people who've opted into that category.

How long we keep it

We keep account and order information for as long as your account is active, and afterward for as long as we're required to for tax, accounting, or legal purposes. Contact form messages are kept as long as needed to resolve your request. Anything stored locally in your browser (cart, theme, session) stays there until you clear your browser data or it naturally expires; we don't have a copy of it on our servers.

Your privacy rights

If you're in the EU, UK, or a jurisdiction with similar protections, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Delete your data, subject to our legal retention obligations.
  • Restrict or object to certain processing.
  • Receive a copy of your data in a portable format.
  • Withdraw consent at any time for anything based on consent (like optional cookie categories), without affecting processing that already happened.

To exercise any of these, email privacy@blaxstar.net. We'll respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority at any time.

U.S. state privacy rights

Depending on where you live in the U.S., you may have similar rights under state privacy laws (such as California's), including the right to know what personal information we've collected, to request deletion, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We don't sell or share personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising. To make a request, email privacy@blaxstar.net.

Children's privacy

The Store isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Security

Connections to the Store are encrypted (HTTPS), payment card data never touches our servers, and access to account and order data is limited to what's needed to run the Store. No system is perfectly secure; if you discover a security issue, please tell us at the email below before disclosing it publicly.

Changes to this policy

If we make changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Any change that materially affects how we handle your data will be reflected here before it takes effect.
